Stamp Price Increase Implemented May 11, 2009

For through the mail autograph collectors and non-collectors, The U.S. Postal Service has implemented a 2 cent increase on first-class stamps. The price to send out a first-class letter has increased to 44 cents from the previous 42 cents.

For those of you lucky enough to have stocked up on 42-cent "Forever Stamps" you can use them whenever you like. The forever stamp is the Autograph Through The Mail (TTM) Collector's best friend, since it ensures that any returns that take a while to be returned will have enough postage to make it back to you, regardless of future increases.
