Yankees Fan Fest 2007

The 2007 Yankees FanFest will be taking place on Saturday September 15th, 2007 at Lincoln Center (located in Manhattan) from 2pm - 7pm. This free event is sponsored by WCBS NEWSRADIO 880, which broadcasts local Yankees games. Among the former Yankees who are scheduled to appear and sign autographs are:

Graig Nettles 4p-6p
Mickey Rivers 2:30 - 4:30p
Roy White 2:30p-4:30p
Jim Leyritz 3p-5p
Don Larsen 3p -5p

NOTE: There is a one autograph limit per player.

There are plenty of outdoor activities, and Yankee fans can gather to watch the 3:55 PM game between the New York Yankee vs Boston Red Sox, featuring a matchup of Cy Young candidates Chien-Ming Wang (18-6, 3.69) and Josh Beckett (18-6, 3.27).

This is a must attend event for any Yankees fan.

The beautiful outdoor setting provided by Lincoln Center, included this Yankee Fan Fest logo on a metallic frame, with the water fountains in the background.
As you can plainly see, WCBS NEWSRADIO 880 went all out, and even rolled out the red carpet when they heard that Alex would be attending the festivities.
Upon entering the Yankees Fan Fest, Alex was greeted by a Babe Ruth impersonator, who as you can see was indeed "Large Than Life" just like the Bambino.
There was alot of stuff to do, and while we walked around, we were entertained by The Nerds who played a variety of cover songs. By far our favorite, was a rendition of Sweet Child Of Mine by Guns N Roses.
The method of transportation that we used to get to Yankee Fan Fest 2007 was the New York City Subway.
A short walking distance from Lincoln Center is Central Park, where there are alot of cool things to do and observe. By far our favorite way to pass time, is a horse drawn carriage around Central Park!
