Kansas City Left Fielder Billy Butler made his major league debut on May 1st against the Los Angeles Angels. He singled to left off of Bartolo Colon in the second inning, and singled to right off of Scot Shields in the eighth inning. He was the Royals 2004 first-round pick, and was playing for the Omaha Royals when I mailed out my request on 04/16/07. I thought I would not get it back, but it was sent from Kansas City after his call-up.

To take his place on the roster, Kansas City recalled first baseman-designated hitter Billy Butler, a top prospect who was sent down to Triple-A Omaha a month ago to work on his attitude and game.
