It's that time of year again. Opening Day 2008, and as usual Topps has issued their 2008 Topps Opening Day set. This set is clearly intended for kids, with it's stick of gum per pack, and affordable package pricing (6 cards per retail pack costs $0.99).

For the most part, the card photos are identical to their regular Topps release, while the card numbers may differ.
The 2008 Topps set have white borders, while the 2008 Topps Opening Day cards have red borders, and every card has gold lettering for the team name, player name. and the topps company name. The cards also contain the Opening Day logo at the bottom, just above the player's name.

One of the cool things about this set, is that Topps included cards that will be included in Topps Series II. Below is an unofficial list of these preview cards.
