After somehow swindling the Giants out of $126 million over seven years, Scott Boras now has the highest paid player in baseball (Alex Rodriguez) and the highest paid reliever (Barry Zito).

Baseball has it's first $18 million a year reliever, and It's not Mariano Rivera, or Billy Wagner, it's none other than Barry Zito. Giants fans have only six more years to watch Zito and his blazing Fastball in the mid-80s.

New York Yankees fans are all over Mike Mussina on the local talk shows in New York saying he can no longer pitch, but if you compare their numbers, Zito (0-6 7.53) vs Mussina (3-3 4.73), I'll gladly take Mussina.
