Many people enjoy this hobby for various reasons. I use it as a way to bond with my son and one of the unexpected benefits are the friendships that are forged with fellow collectors, who enjoy the same hobby we do.

Collecting Autographs Through the Mail is one of the most enjoyable hobbies. Once you start collecting, something as simple as getting the mail, becomes a daily enjoyable experience. Santa Claus only comes once a year, but the man in the mail truck comes up to 6 times a week!

After coming home one day and going to check the mailbox for any TTM successes, I noticed a cardboard tube waiting for me. When I opened it, it contained a Jose Tabatha signed baseball bat. The bat was sent from fellow collector Chad who runs www.sportsautosttm.com.

When I got back into collecting autographs through the mail, and decided to set up this website, Chad was the first person who let other collector's know I was "Out There" by displaying the link to my site on his links page. We've exchanged emails with collecting info back and forth, and I've lent my web development experience to help him make changes to his site.

There are many aspects of this hobby that are enjoyable. Any time someone starts up a new website and asks me to add their site to our links page, I gladly oblige, hoping to give a new member of the community the same spotlight and encouragement that Chad did to help us get started.
