Smoltz joins 3000 Strikeout Club

John Smoltz joined the 3,000 strikeout club on April 22, 2008. Felipe Lopez became his 3,000th victim after striking out in the third inning.

Unfortunately he lost to the Washington Nationals and Long Island native John Lannan! John Lannan was born September 27, 1984 in Long Beach, NY.
